Weddings can be an expensive business and having gone to the cost of a photographer, a videographer at £800 plus can seem a bit of an extravagance.

The service we provide is quiet unique and will enable you to have a personalised and professional video record of your big day, at a fraction of the cost.

How it works

Save money by shooting your own wedding video footage, and have us edit it for you onto DVD.

At most weddings one or two guests will bring along their video cameras to record the big day. Simply send us this footage and we will edit it into a wedding movie for you to treasure and share with the ones you love for years to come.

One big advantage of having a family member or friend shoot the wedding video is that they will know the bride and groom and their guests better than a hired professional, so the wedding video you record yourself will have more personality and meaning. Your guests are likely to be more natural around a follow guest than a pro video guy.

The Movie Makers Wedding package

• First we carefully review your video minute by minute to find, as Devina McCall would say, your best bits. Your impute helps with this process and we ask that you fill in a form and let us know if you have any special requests or favourite bits.
• The video is trimmed and the unusable or undesirable footage is removed leaving only clean, smooth footage.
• Video enhancements are performed if necessary (color correction, image stabilisation, etc..)

• Now we add the fun stuff; our Hollywood style intros, professionally designed custom titles, transitions and music.

• We review your video one more time and perform any final polishing, if needed.

• Your finished wedding movie is now ready as a new video file, suitable for export to DVD (or VHS if preferred).
• Next we create a DVD including a personalised main menu and a chapters menu containing links to the key moments of your video. For example hen night/ stage night, guests arriving, ceremony, speeches, first dance and maybe even honey moon.
• Your finished Movie Makers wedding video is then "burned" onto a DVD disc, suitable for play in your home DVD player and a personalised title is added to the top side.

• The final step is to design a beautiful, custom DVD case, which is printed on premium quality photo paper.

Your video is ready to share with friends and family and is a timeless reminder of you big day.

This includes one DVD and up to 2 hours of footage supplied. £50 per additional 30 minutes of footage.

• Website  - Customised web site showcasing wedding photos and edited 3 – 5 minute quick time footage. Area for messages from the bride and groom, thank you messages and an online guest book, we can also supply cards with the web address to you to hand out to friends, neighbours and work colleague. – £200.

·         Your Story – interview each other and tell us how you met and any stories you may have. Send us this footage along with old family photos and video footage and we’ll edit them together in a modern montage to create your story so far. This makes an excellent addition to your DVD; it’s also a lot of fun! – 100 pounds
